The Singapore Slingers and Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings of Philippine Basketball Association will meet on Wednesday, Septemeber 30, 2009 8pm at Singapore Indoor Stadium for the 3rd game of Singapore Challenge Series 2009.

The Singapore Slingers will come to this game with a 90-87 loss to Smart Gilas Team Pilipinas last Thursday, September 24. After winning it’s first game against Coca-Cola Tigers who also from the Philippine Basketball Association, the Slingers are up to another challenge against the much stronger Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings. The Slingers will be carried by last game’s top scorer and the Singapore Slingers American Import Kyle Jeffers. Also leading the Singapore Slingers are Local Player Hong Wei Jian and Filipino point guard Al Vergara.

Meanwhile, the Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings who are in rebuilding process after acquiring some players from the trade block is expecting to be challenge and learn experience from Singapore Challenge Series 2009. The Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings is boosting it’s line-up for the upcoming 2009-2010 Philippine Basketball Association Season.

I’m pretty much sure that this game will not miss by the Filipino Community at Singapore as the Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings is the well-known crowd drawer in the Philippine Basketball Association.
