The king tiger is the king of UAAP! Dylan Ababou the ace forward of UST wins the UAAP Season 72 MVP. His hard work and determination paid off as he leads the UST growling Tigers to this season’s Final Four.

Dylan Ababou the league’s leading scorer and most consistent performer among the Tigers, posted averages of 18.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game and boasted of a 40.4 percent marksmanship emerge as the runaway winner for the plum.
He is the lone UAAP baller that scored at least 10 points in every single UAAP game during the double-round eliminations. Ababou edged out last season MVP Rabeh Al-Hussaini and top center of FEU Aldrech Ramos.
Dylan Ababou and the UST Growling Tigers are now up to much higher challenge as they face the Ateneo Blue Eagles next week at the start of 72nd UAAP Final Four.
Meanwhile, scoring wizard Terrence Romeo and Analyn Almasan copped the highest individual award in the juniors and women’s divisions, respectively.
Personally, I’ve seen him play when he’s still in Team B of UST and at that time I’ve already saw a great potential in him. He has a great shooting touch and the versatility at his height playing the small forward spot. He is really at the top of his game right now and he really deserves to be named the UAAP 72nd Season MVP.

well, i’ve known dylan personally. we’ve been blockmates in philo when i was in my sophomore year in ust. now that i am in my junior year, he still remembers me. he’s really mabait talaga.
btw, he really deserves to be the mvp this season. he really worked hard for the 2-round basketball competition. and besides, it’s his last year. the mvp award is just like a cherry on the top for him after a fruitful and sweetened uaap basketball years.
to dylan, congrats.
the Thomasian community still believes in you. kaya nyo yan team!
