Knowing how to make money online can be productive both online and offline. There is a lot of ways of making money online and many people are making money online in different ways. Even BPO industry have their own definition of making money online. Many people who also makes money online that makes money at home like those home based jobs but they are working for an overseas company.

As for me, I make the most out of my knowledge to be productive. Recently, I was offered by my colleague to make money offline using the knowledge that I use to make money online. She is asking me to create a website with her for a certain furniture company. Sounds great right? The offer is not that tempting but the challenge is there and I am always up to the challenge.

I know for sure that my colleague is pretty sure of what she is doing because she has an information technology degree to boost her knowledge and skills on doing this project. But as for me I don’t have that degree but I know something that she doesn’t know. That is why she is asking me to help her out.

Now I hope I could meet the expectations of the client even if I don’t have information technology degree which they prefer.

I am not a fan of any books nor like to read books but I love to read magazines and other thin books that caught my attention like sports and other stuff such as men magazine and other tutorial books. I’ve been reading a lot of e-books lately and I tell you it is quite alright than reading paper books especially when you’re always in front of your PC or tablet and other gadgets that has PDF reader.

But the bad thing about e-book is not having a bookmark which you can do in ordinary books. I remember during my grade school days all of my classmates has their own bookmark whenever we stop in a certain page of our textbook. During that time I prefer metal bookmarks than any other ordinary one.

And besides e-book is scattered everywhere in the internet.

I received a call yesterday from unknown number and I didn’t know hat it was my brother. I don’t know what he really want at first but he immediately ask me on How To Enable International Roaming. I asked him, who’s going abroad? He said that his friend is in the airplane at that time and didn’t know how to activate international roaming. So I told him that they should have called the customer service of his friend’s service provider instead of calling me. But if I know the exact way on how to activate postpaid or prepaid roaming service may it be in Globe, Smart or Sun i would definitely help them out.

So I decided to post the instructions on How To Activate International Roaming Service for Globe, Smart and Sun which you will see after the jump.

For Globe Postpaid Roaming:

For postpaid subscribers, roaming services are pre-activated. It is encouraged to call roaming hotline
(+63-7301212 ) before leaving the country for helpful tips while roaming.

For Globe Prepaid Roaming:

Just send GROAM ON mm/dd/yyyy to request for open roaming duration.

If subs wants to roam for a specific duration, send GROAM ON <START DATE mm/dd/yyyy> <no. of days> to 2884 (i.e. GROAM ON 09/15/2008 28 and send to 2884).

Roaming activation should be done at least 24 hours before departure. You will receive confirmation via text once your International Roaming is activated. Activation via text is FREE of charge.

Note: you should have at least 100 pesos of prepaid credits.

To deactivate via SMS, text ROAM OFF and send to 333.

To activate/deactivate international roaming via SIM Connect:

Text Get Menu to 9888 for FREE.

Upon downloading, go to SMART Menu and choose SIM Connect menu.

Select International Roaming Activation or Deactivation.

To activate/deactivate international roaming via Web Connect:

Go to www.smart.com.ph/connect .

Register and log-in to Web Connect.

Under the Service Activation/Deactivation block, select “International Roaming”.

*To enjoy seamless roaming service, maintain a minimum load of P100 while abroad.

For Sun Postpaid Roaming Service:

• Activate your roaming by calling Sun Hotline 200 or by visiting The Sun Shop nearest you.
• No additional fees are required to activate your roaming.
• Make sure to update your accounts before leaving the country so that to enjoy uninterrupted roaming while abroad.

For Sun Prepaid Roaming Service:

There are three ways to activate your Prepaid Roaming service:

a. Via SMS

• Just text ROAM ON then send to 222, 1 hour before departing the country.
• A text confirmation will be received upon successful activation

b. Via USSD • Dial *222# then press SEND.
• On Prepaid Roaming Menu, select option 1 to activate then select option 1 again to confirm the request.
• A text confirmation will be received upon successful activation.

Now, whenever someone asked me on how to activate roaming service i just have to tell them that they should visit my site and look for the post which compile the different activation methods to activate their roaming service. By the way, I just got an idea to post this because of my brother.

Last Friday I went to Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Caloocan Office to register to vote on May 2010 Presidential Elections. It was my first time to vote on 2010 although I was already 23 years of age. I was kind of lazy back then and I didn’t register to vote when I supposedly voted last time during the Senatorial Elections in 2006, I was 19 years of age back then.

But now, I realized that voting is something that you have to do as a citizen of this country. I realized that the vote that I’m going to do is so important for the future of our falling country and the change that people wanted for a long period of time. I am also inspired by the ABS-CBN campaign for the May 2010 Presidential Elections with the slogan of “Ako ang Simula” which is very true. Who’s going to start something for our country? If I myself would not choose the right person to lead us to the right path that this country needs.

Now I can say “Ako ang Simula” after registering to vote for the May 2010 Presidential Elections. For those people who are eligible and not yet registered to vote for the May 2010 Presidential Elections, I encourage you to register now. Registration is still open to all eligible citizens until October 31, 2009.

Registration to vote for the May 2010 Presidential Elections is so easy and is hussle free. You’ll be finish within 1 hour or less unlike other government agencies that took you almost a day for waiting for such thing.

Okay here’s the step by step process to register for the May 2010 Presidential Elections:

Requirements:

1 one valid ID such as Driver’s License, Passport, SSS ID or any government issued ID. NBI clearance is also accepted.

1 photocopy of your valid ID.

Process:

1. Go to any Commission on Election (COMELEC) office near you.

2. Get a form on the STEP 1 area and show your valid ID for verification they will attach your photo copied valid ID on your form. (Be sure that you know your barangay)

3. Fill out the form completely and go back to STEP 1 area. (Be careful with the “Mother’s Name” part because they require your Mother’s Maiden Name)

4. After verifying your form, proceed to STEP 2 area. (The Interview part as they call it but they are just going to check if you miss a part)

5. After they check your form proceed to Step 3 area and pass your form, they will write your application number and wait to be called they will return the form to you.

6. Proceed to STEP 4 area for the picture taking (I think this is for the Voter’s ID)

7. Proceed to STEP 5 the last part for finger printing and pass the form. They will tear out your acknowledgment receipt and be sure to keep it. You’re done!

Registering to vote for the May 2010 Presidential Elections is so easy so don’t waste your vote and register now for the future of our country and for the change that we all need.

To be a top-flight ball-handler (which is key to being a great point guard) one must be able to survey the floor while handling the ball. The ball-handler cannot afford to be concerned with whether he/she is going to be able to control the ball at high speeds especially while running a break. Everyone on the team relies on the ball-handler to get the ball down the floor and be the catalyst toward making something happen for the team.

A classic rule of life applies here: If you can handle two of something, then mastering one thing will be much easier. In other words, if you can handle two balls at high speeds while keeping your eyes looking ahead, handling one will be a piece of cake.

Drill: Stand at one end of the court. Hold one basketball in each hand. Begin to walk forward toward the opposite baseline, bouncing the ball in your right hand first. In the fraction of a second after the ball in your right hand has hit the floor, bounce the left ball. In the fraction of a second after the left ball hits the floor, bounce the right ball. Continue in this fashion down the court. As you begin to feel more comfortable doing the drill, start to pick up your pace. Ideally, you will eventually be able to sprint down the floor, bouncing both balls with equal skill. Don’t underestimate the importance of this ball handling tip! I have seen NBA and WNBA players STILL performing this drill at the on-set of a practice. It sounds simple, and it is, so make sure to master ball-handling and you’re on your way to a great basketball career!

Tip #2

You MUST, and we repeat, you MUST, keep your head up when you dribble. This helps you develop good court vision so you can avoid double teams, escape double teams, and find the open man. Try to NEVER look down at the ball, but rather, keep your eyes on the action at all times. This tip is GUARANTEED to help you limit turnovers and increase assists.

Tip #3

Always keep the ball low to the ground (unless you’re sprinting down the court at near-full speed)… The lower you keep the ball on the ground, the harder it will be for your defender to steal it. Also, you can dribble the ball faster when its lower, and you’ll have better overall control.

Tip #4

Practice at game-speed. If you’re practicing at half-speed, how is that going to help you in the game? Practice at higher speeds than you would in the game, and challenge yourself. Make mistakes in practice, so you don’t make them in the game.

Drills

AROUND THE WORLD

Circle the ball around your head, than your waist, and finally put your legs together and take the ball around both legs at the knees. Then, bend at the waist, spread your legs, and circle the ball around one leg, then the other. This exercise will give you a great feel for the ball in addition to hand coordination and speed.

THE SCISSORS

To start this exercise, place your left foot ahead of your right and bounce the ball between your legs from your right to your left hand. As the ball gets to your left hand shift your feet so that your right leg goes ahead of your left and bounce the ball back between your legs. Shift your feet with every bounce.

Note: This Drills are not just for Guard Position, If your a Bigman and want to improve your skills on handling the ball try this drills and improve yourself to become a better Basketball Player.

This are just some tips on how to become a A Good Ball-Handler of basketball, you can still do practice on your own way.
