The last time that I used a gps device was when we went to Candelaria, Quezon. I wasn’t familiar with the place so I used the gps function of my Samsung galaxy tab 7.0 for me to know the way going there. I used it when we were already in Batangas and I never turned it off since then.

I would like to have a motorcycle gps garmin for my bumblebeat honda beat scooter for travel and navigation purpose. But yet I have to buy a gps case for motorcycle. Although I am thinking of it also because now a days, GPS device are hot for the eyes of those thieves and robbers.

Having a GPS device on my scooter will make it look more good. Garmin is the best out there that is selling different models so might as well I get one of those.

They rented RV to go to vegas from LA but when they got to Vegas they couldn’t handle that the place has to offer.

They have ruined everyrhing. Drinking and partying in RV. They made the RV look like a mess and they were involved in a major collision into a truck. Good thing that they have rv insurance to came along with they rent so they wont have any problem.

Visiting places or city in highlands is just the perfect vacation for summer. It is the most heat quenching for the body especially in a tropical country like ours. Staying in cities above sea level and high altitude could not stop the sun raise from touching your skin but it definitely has the fresh and cool air that your body needed the most during this season.

Staying alone is just a so-so relaxation time to make your vacation better but there a lot of activities that you could actually do when staying in cities like Baguio of the Philippines. There are a lot of places wherein you could spend time and quality moments with your family.

One of the most common activity in high land places such this is horse back riding. You could actually ride a horse while escorted and by its own owners or trainers that some has the greatest outfit that you could imagine. Some where even dressed with equestrian clothes for the visitors to feel that they are really escorted by those who really know what they are doing. Some are just dressed with street clothes and doesn’t do anything to entertain the pack.

Equestrian clothes are more often seen in polo games as well as those who ride their own horse for sports and some are just for leisure and entertainment.

After shift, I come home early for our friends and family’s summer getaway. I thought we’re leaving early around 8am so I was rushing on the road riding my Honda beat scooter. When I arrived home things were already packed as it was planned. My friend Marco and his wife are already there because I told him to come to our house at around 6:30am. Then goes our delay, Mark is still sleeping so we have to wake him up at his home that morning. Snap called me and he just woke up also. Our planned outing was delayed due to tardiness of this two people. Plus the fact that Rica (Mark’s wife) still needs to go to work that day but on a half day only. The bad thing is that we haven’t decided on where we’re really going! Mark’s father Tiyo Henio told us that they had an outing just last week in La Excellance Resort Cavite.

Our original plan was to go to Green Nature Waterpark Resort in San Mateo wherein we will stay for overnight and go home around noon the following day. But Marco and Mark objected and told us that we should try out of town since Tiyo Henio told us that his experience in Cavite was great, so we took his word. We left from our place at around 10.30am to fetch Rica from her work and to fetch Snap and his family in UP Village where they live.

We were headed to Tanza, Cavite. While waiting for Mae (my wife) and Jed (Marco’s wife) from Market for our foods and other stuff on that morning, I already searched on the internet what could be the best resorts in Cavite since Tiyo Henio just named few resorts like La Excellance Resort as well as Oasis Hotel and Resorts both in Tanza.

So from Diliman, I took the way of Quezon Ave. going to Araneta Ave, Sta Mesa, Pandacan, Quirino, Roxas Blvd then we stopped by at Blue Wave Macapagal to fill up some fuel. Then we go and took coastal road with toll fee amounting to 22php and then CAVITEX with 58php for Class 1 vehicles.

We first took a peak at Villa Excellance Resort in Tanza but sadly, it was fully booked. All cottages and rooms are occupied until the next day so we have no choice but to search for a new one. La Excellance Resort is quite good but it is so crowded. We then look for other resorts until we reach Naic, Cavite but in the end we end up in Villa Buenaflor in Tanza, Cavite.

We arrived there at around 4pm. We took the first available room which is known as duplex but the lower part of the duplex is the only available. It is priced at 1500php for 12 hours stay.

What I can say about Villa Buenaflor Resort is that they don’t have a very nice place to stay. The water in their Big pool has a lot of chlorine content that if you open your eyes in the water it will get red afterward. The kiddie pool is also not that impressive since it is a bit small and not safe for kids because the slide inside is made of concrete. The kiddie pool doesn’t even have stairs. We checked out the beach and Snap’s mom was right. The beach is a bit dirty and it looks like they are not maintaining it. We took pictures and walked but didn’t took a deep.
This is not what I expected. We could have enjoyed in Green Nature Waterpark Resort in San Mateo! But if you are lack in budget, this is the place to stay in Tanza. Same thing with the La Excellance. I am just not that satisfied but I enjoyed a lot because of my family and friends together.

I am just so satisfied with the foods and drinks that we had during our stay. We brought in Electric Stove and Electric Grill to cook our foods. We also had flame grilled Fish and Pork Belly. So our dinner was great and then goes the drinking session wherein we stayed up until 3am! I haven’t even sleep for almost 40 hours! We drunk 1 bottle of The Bar Vodka and 1 case of Red Horse beer to satisfy our urge. The kick of the alcohol drinks was just fine and it helps us to sleep way better.

We then checked out around 8am then go hit the road and stopped by in Tambo, Paranaque to visit our former team mate Jason Malcontento of NU Bulldogs (2002-2006).

We really had fun specially the kids, even if the place is not that satisfying and our stay was quite short! Next time we will fix all our work schedules to have better time off and vacation.

We would do that more often and our target is on October or December. This time our plan is to go to Puerto Galera wherein we will enjoy both on foods and accommodation for sure. Although this time it will cost us a little bit higher than before. The get together with my family and best friends is just so amazing and wonderful.

I don’t know what he really want at first but he immediately ask me on How To Enable International Roaming. I asked him, who’s going abroad? He said that his friend is in the airplane at that time and didn’t know how to activate international roaming. So I told him that they should have called the customer service of his friend’s service provider instead of calling me. But if I know the exact way on how to activate postpaid or prepaid roaming service may it be in Globe, Smart or Sun i would definitely help them out.

So I decided to post the instructions on How To Activate International Roaming Service for Globe, Smart and Sun which you will see after the jump.

For Globe Postpaid Roaming:

For postpaid subscribers, roaming services are pre-activated. It is encouraged to call roaming hotline
(+63-7301212 ) before leaving the country for helpful tips while roaming.

For Globe Prepaid Roaming:

Just send GROAM ON mm/dd/yyyy to request for open roaming duration.

If subs wants to roam for a specific duration, send GROAM ON <START DATE mm/dd/yyyy> <no. of days> to 2884 (i.e. GROAM ON 09/15/2008 28 and send to 2884).

Roaming activation should be done at least 24 hours before departure. You will receive confirmation via text once your International Roaming is activated. Activation via text is FREE of charge.

Note: you should have at least 100 pesos of prepaid credits.

For Smart Postpaid Roaming:

To activate/deactivate international roaming via Web Connect:

Go to www.smart.com.ph/connect .

Register and log-in to Web Connect.

Under the Service Activation/Deactivation block, select “International Roaming”.

For Smart Prepaid Roaming:

To activate via SMS, text ROAM ON <country name> and send to 333.

To deactivate via SMS, text ROAM OFF and send to 333.

To activate/deactivate international roaming via SIM Connect:

Text Get Menu to 9888 for FREE.

Upon downloading, go to SMART Menu and choose SIM Connect menu.

Select International Roaming Activation or Deactivation.

To activate/deactivate international roaming via Web Connect:

Go to www.smart.com.ph/connect .

Register and log-in to Web Connect.

Under the Service Activation/Deactivation block, select “International Roaming”.

*To enjoy seamless roaming service, maintain a minimum load of P100 while abroad.

For Sun Postpaid Roaming Service:

• Activate your roaming by calling Sun Hotline 200 or by visiting The Sun Shop nearest you.
• No additional fees are required to activate your roaming.
• Make sure to update your accounts before leaving the country so that to enjoy uninterrupted roaming while abroad.

For Sun Prepaid Roaming Service:

There are three ways to activate your Prepaid Roaming service:

a. Via SMS

• Just text ROAM ON then send to 222, 1 hour before departing the country.
• A text confirmation will be received upon successful activation

b. Via USSD • Dial *222# then press SEND.
• On Prepaid Roaming Menu, select option 1 to activate then select option 1 again to confirm the request.
• A text confirmation will be received upon successful activation.

c. Via Sun Hotline
• Call Sun Hotline 200 and request for the prepaid roaming service to be activated.

Now, whenever someone asked me on how to activate roaming service i just have to tell them that they should visit my site and look for the post which compile the different activation methods to activate their roaming service. By the way, I just got an idea to post this because of my brother.

What is your dream vacation this Christmas? That is up to you! but for me my dream vacation is still a dream right now and I think it wouldn’t come to life in the next 10 years. I remember the last time that I was asked of what would be my dream vacation was during the Club Ultima Crown Regency Hotel Gift Certificate Presentation that I attended last May. And the dream vacation that I answered was a vacation in Bahamas with experience of bahamas cruises that would definitely take me to the top of the world.

But still this would not be possible if I would not work hard for the next ten years. Well this will just be a dream for now but I hope I could reach and do this dream vacation that I wanted to in this coming years who knows I might win the lottery tomorrow or in the next couple of days then I could do this vacation this coming 2011.

My family and I with some friends from call center went to Mariveles, Bataan for an outing and didn’t know that we are going to hop the Island called Lusong Beach. The bad news was we are not ready even though we brought wrestling backpack, we don’t have trekking equipments with us. But as adventurous people that we are, we go on and trek about an estimated 2km with only slippers on and shorts.

Oh I miss those days, I wish that early next year we get into another adventure like this.

Finally we’ve been to Talisay City’s tourist attraction! The Villa Teresita Resort! I can really say that this resort is one of the destinations for tourist in Talisay as I’ve seen many tourist with different nationalities who stayed there like Korean and European.

Villa Tereita Resort Cebu is not a first class resort and is not even close to luxury resort destinations in Cebu like Plantation Bay etc. But that’s the good thing about it, since it’s cheap, you can always experience their very own facilities including their 30-feet high slide.

Staying at Villa Teresita is part of our short vacation itinerary when we booked Airphil Express Promo Fare that we got last July for November. I’ve been always eager to go to this place since we went to Cebu on May 2009.

Anyway, they have a total of 6 swimming pools including the 3 kiddie pool with 3 feet deep and one 8ft. deep pool surrounded by loud music background, 1 swimming pool is not available when we stayed and the other one is the most beautiful among all with the 30ft slide.

We came around 1:30 pm so its a bit late since the time allowed when you stay for day swimming is 8am-6pm but the 4 hours that we had was just enough for us to enjoy and relax.

We paid 90php per head on adults and 45php for kids 4″ below. Plus the cottage that is only available at that time is 400php so its pretty cheap right? Well since I am also browsing it from net before we go there we’re sure on what to expect before we arrive.

Well one thing is for sure, my son Miguel really did enjoy our very quick stay at Villa Teresita Resort in Talisay City, Cebu.

After months of waiting my scheduled vacation is near. I’ve been thinking of this all the time when I was on duty in hospital or even outside Metro. My mind just kept on thinking on a dream vacation such as Branson vacations, Boracay or Hong Kong. But, I know this time is not yet the time as I am short on budget.

My Piso fare flight to Cebu will suffice my mind on my urge to have a dream vacation this 10th of November. What’s best on this trip is that my airfare just cost 1 peso one way and 18 pesos return flight that makes my vacation cheap yet more enjoyable.

I didn’t really know the exact date but we went to Star City just this past month, I think its September. My family tree are all present (except my dad who’s in US), its been a while since the last time we went to Star City in Pasay. If I remembered it correct, the last time we’re at the famous amusement park was last 2008, co-incidentally it’s also September.

The Star City was totally different at that time tough there was Star Flyer and Snow World already, the Dino Island were replaced by Lazer Blaster. They still have the same rides, but what I noticed is that they installed new rides for kids at the second floor as well as play house for babies and children.

One thing that didn’t change in Star City is the Entrance Fees and Packages:

Entrance Fee : Php 60

Entrance Fee + 3 Rides : Php 250

Entrance Fee + Ride All You Can : Php 300

Entrance Fee + Ride All You Can + Snow World: Php 375

Entrance Fee + Ride All You Can + Lazer Blaster: Php 375

Entrance Fee + Ride All You Can + Snow World + Lazer Blaster: Php 475

We purchased the Ride All You Can plus Snow World Tickets for the adults and also for the kids. The Star City were kind of “taking advantage on children” because if you’re child sizes 32″ inches above, you will have to pay for them as a regular adult unlike in Enchanted Kingdom where in they have a bracket of 32″-42″ Junior Day Pass for the kids.

Anyway, We arrived there at around 3PM in the afternoon and the still the people aren’t that too many. The crowd poured in at around 5 PM luckily we already rode the Star Flyer and Zyklone Loop at that time. We enjoyed almost all of their rides except for the Viking wherein the smell of burning rubber can suffocate you while waiting for your turn in a long line.

The Snow World were great! We totally enjoyed it especially Miguel and Angel (my niece) who doesn’t want to go out anymore. They enjoyed playing crushed ice and sliding from the top. Too bad we didn’t brought hand gloves so we could have stayed inside the huge freezer chest for a longer time. One thing is prohibited inside the Snow World is taking pictures, may it be mobile phone or digital camera plus the fact that it is really necessary not to bring out your gadgets while inside the Snow World because it might malfunction or worse it may broke because of the freezing temperature inside.

All in all We had a great time at Star City that day and we didn’t wait until the closing time which is 10 PM. We are dead hungry after the cool rides so We decided to eat at Golden Fortune Seafood Restaurant for a hefty Shabu-Shabu Dinner.
