The Nokia Charger Exchange program will only replace three charger models – AC-3E, AC-3U and AC-4U – manufactured between April and October this year.

This charger models that included in the list of Nokia Charger Exchange program were reportedly have some problems like the plastic covers of the affected chargers could come loose and separate, exposing the charger’s internal components that can lead into an electric shock.

Nokia said that AC-3E and AC-3U chargers purchased before June 15, 2009 and AC-4U chargers purchased before April 13, 2009 are not within scope of the Nokia Charger Exchange program.

Here is the 3-step process of the Nokia Charger Exchange Program:

Chargers within the scope of the exchange program can be easily identified through the following three step process.

Step one – Identify the charger model number to determine if it is within scope of the program. Eligible models are AC-3E, AC-3U and AC-4U. If the charger model is not listed, it is not within scope of the program and no further action is required.

Step two – Determine if the charger was manufactured by BYD. If your charger label has the letters “BYD” it may be within the scope of the program. If BYD is not identified on your charger label, it is not within the scope of the program and no further action is required.

Step three – Identify charger production date code. If you own the AC-3E or AC-3U, and your charger model contains production codes between “925” and “932” it is within the scope of the program and should be exchanged for a free replacement charger.  If any other code is listed it is not within scope of the program and no further action is required.

If you own the AC-4U, and your charger model contains production codes between “916” and “943” it is within the scope of the program and should be exchanged for a free replacement charger.

Consumers are asked to visit Nokia Charger Exchange Program Website or send an SMS with the following format “charger model, manufacturer name, 26 digit charger serial number” to 0905-3224923 (for Globe subscribers), 0920-2678978 (for Smart subscribers) or 0922-8589360 (for Sun subscribers) so they can be assisted.  Or they may call the Nokia Careline at (632) 886-1234 between 8:30am – 8:30pm from Mondays to Sundays.

The first thing that entered in my mind was Western Union Money Transfer but I’m a bit hesitant coz’ it is much expensive as I’ll be sending more than $500, so I tried other options. But now, I realized that voting is something that you have to do as a citizen of this country. I realized that the vote that I’m going to do is so important for the future of our falling country and the change that people wanted for a long period of time. I am also inspired by the ABS-CBN campaign for the May 2010 Presidential Elections with the slogan of “Ako ang Simula” which is very true. Who’s going to start something for our country? If I myself would not choose the right person to lead us to the right path that this country needs.

Now I can say “Ako ang Simula” after registering to vote for the May 2010 Presidential Elections. For those people who are eligible and not yet registered to vote for the May 2010 Presidential Elections, I encourage you to register now. Registration is still open to all eligible citizens until October 31, 2009.

Registration to vote for the May 2010 Presidential Elections is so easy and is hussle free. You’ll be finish within 1 hour or less unlike other government agencies that took you almost a day for waiting for such thing.

Okay here’s the step by step process to register for the May 2010 Presidential Elections:

Requirements:

1 one valid ID such as Driver’s License, Passport, SSS ID or any government issued ID. NBI clearance is also accepted.

1 photocopy of your valid ID.

Process:

1. Go to any Commission on Election (COMELEC) office near you.

2. Get a form on the STEP 1 area and show your valid ID for verification they will attach your photo copied valid ID on your form. (Be sure that you know your barangay)

3. Fill out the form completely and go back to STEP 1 area. (Be careful with the “Mother’s Name” part because they require your Mother’s Maiden Name)

4. After verifying your form, proceed to STEP 2 area. (The Interview part as they call it but they are just going to check if you miss a part)

5. After they check your form proceed to Step 3 area and pass your form, they will write your application number and wait to be called they will return the form to you.

6. Proceed to STEP 4 area for the picture taking (I think this is for the Voter’s ID)

7. Proceed to STEP 5 the last part for finger printing and pass the form. They will tear out your acknowledgment receipt and be sure to keep it. You’re done!

Registering to vote for the May 2010 Presidential Elections is so easy so don’t waste your vote and register now for the future of our country and for the change that we all need.

So I was early at the LTO Licensing Center inside the Araneta Square Mall at Monumento. It was a really disappointing day as I’ve encountered two problems at the LTO Licensing Center. First, the machine in the Drug testing center was broken and needed to be fixed. So I waited for a while until the break time 12 noon came. Second and the most annoying problem, after I ate my lunch I immediately go back and then I was informed that the printer at the LTO Licensing Center is also broken.

Imagine two problems at the same area? The Land Transportation Office personnel gave me my documents and asked me to go at SM North Edsa LTO Licensing Center so that my license will be processed. After the sad incident, I just decided to go to Edsa rather than waste my day doing nothing. At SM North Edsa LTO Licensing Center I passed my documents and within 20 minutes, I’m done! My Professional Driver’s License was released. If this problems didn’t occurred I could have been finished within 2 hours.

Yesterday is the release of tickets to be sold, since it was declared holiday I suppose that today will be the day of ticket sales on eight UAAP schools. The ordeal of buying tickets will be felt, since the tickets will be distributed equally on eight participating schools. The rest of the ticket will be sold by Araneta Coliseum. That means each school will receive 10 percent of the tickets and Araneta will get 20 percent.

Don’t have 2009 UAAP Cheerdance Competition Ticket yet? Here’s a tip, look for a friend, colleague, relative, anyone from the schools that don’t have enough crowd during the Competition esp. NU since they have the fewest crowd in the UAAP, for sure you’ll get your desired tickets. Don’t worry ticket seat numbers were dependent on the sequence of performances.

But if the 2009 UAAP Cheerdance Competition comes and yet you don’t have tickets, try to comment on this post and I’ll do my best to help you. After all, there will still be “scalpers” outside the Big Dome but the ticket they’re selling will range from 200% to 300% of the original price.

A classic rule of life applies here: If you can handle two of something, then mastering one thing will be much easier. In other words, if you can handle two balls at high speeds while keeping your eyes looking ahead, handling one will be a piece of cake.

Drill: Stand at one end of the court. Hold one basketball in each hand. Begin to walk forward toward the opposite baseline, bouncing the ball in your right hand first. In the fraction of a second after the ball in your right hand has hit the floor, bounce the left ball. In the fraction of a second after the left ball hits the floor, bounce the right ball. Continue in this fashion down the court. As you begin to feel more comfortable doing the drill, start to pick up your pace. Ideally, you will eventually be able to sprint down the floor, bouncing both balls with equal skill. Don’t underestimate the importance of this ball handling tip! I have seen NBA and WNBA players STILL performing this drill at the on-set of a practice. It sounds simple, and it is, so make sure to master ball-handling and you’re on your way to a great basketball career!

Tip #2

You MUST, and we repeat, you MUST, keep your head up when you dribble. This helps you develop good court vision so you can avoid double teams, escape double teams, and find the open man. Try to NEVER look down at the ball, but rather, keep your eyes on the action at all times. This tip is GUARANTEED to help you limit turnovers and increase assists.

Tip #3

Always keep the ball low to the ground (unless you’re sprinting down the court at near-full speed)… The lower you keep the ball on the ground, the harder it will be for your defender to steal it. Also, you can dribble the ball faster when its lower, and you’ll have better overall control.

Tip #4

Practice at game-speed. If you’re practicing at half-speed, how is that going to help you in the game? Practice at higher speeds than you would in the game, and challenge yourself. Make mistakes in practice, so you don’t make them in the game.

Drills

AROUND THE WORLD

Circle the ball around your head, than your waist, and finally put your legs together and take the ball around both legs at the knees. Then, bend at the waist, spread your legs, and circle the ball around one leg, then the other. This exercise will give you a great feel for the ball in addition to hand coordination and speed.

THE SCISSORS

To start this exercise, place your left foot ahead of your right and bounce the ball between your legs from your right to your left hand. As the ball gets to your left hand shift your feet so that your right leg goes ahead of your left and bounce the ball back between your legs. Shift your feet with every bounce.

Note: This Drills are not just for Guard Position, If your a Bigman and want to improve your skills on handling the ball try this drills and improve yourself to become a better Basketball Player.
