Although we know that Samsung Galaxy Young S5360 is one of the cheapest yet reliable Smartphone as of this time, I am still so excited to explore my new gadget. My son Miguel already did his part and didn’t waste time and grabbed the gadget right away when my wife arrived at home.

He explored it but a bit disappointed because there is still no games installed in it. I am not a Smart subscriber and haven’t had a Smart SIM card for regular use since my college years. Also, my friends weren’t Smart prepaid or postpaid subscribers as well.

But the opportunity to use the service of the largest mobile network in the country makes me excited since it includes UnliTxt Smart to Smart, Smart to Talk N’ Text and Smart to Red Mobile. It also includes Unli-Social which refers to unlimited social networking and chatting using SmartNet application that is pre-installed on the Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 Smart Netphone but be aware that this promo is up until .

Using Smart network is the least that I imagined using because the only Smart subscriber at home is my mom. She prefers Smart because of the unlimited features that it has and for me personally they have the most affordable and most reliable unlimited texting service other than SUN cellular network which the Smart already owned.

Exploring the Smart Netphone, I can see a lot of features and capacity of this mobile phone. I am familiar on how an android device works so I know the ups and downs on an android device. Although I had a Samsung Galaxy Tab P1010 before which runs on Android 2.2 Froyo, I see a lot of difference between the tablet and this phone. You can actually determine it by just looking at the specifications of the gadgets and you can actually compare it in the internet.

Samsung Galaxy Y is currently running Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS and I still don’t have an idea if it has already an update. Screen resolution is too low which is not compatible on many applications including HD games. What I am satisfied about is on its touch screen function, it doesn’t have a delay like Samsung Corby 2 that I also have. Even if there are a lot lacking in this unit compared to other Android devices, I can say that it can keep up with the middle class Android device as well as Samsung Smartphone like Samsung Galaxy Ace.

This device has 830 MHz ARMv6 CPU that is close to the one that Galaxy Ace and Galaxy Mini have. Actually, some Android device has lower CPU installed than this one. Now that I have this Smart Netphone Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 on hand and with Smart’s Unli Txt and Unli Social service that I have, I will just tweak some settings, install some applications and I think it’s good to go.

If ever there’s something bad that will happen to me. I am now assured there will be an amount of money that I will leave for my family (knocked on wood). But no one wants to use any life insurance right away. This is just a security for my love ones if ever.

I am just so glad that I’ll be receiving this no exam life insurance benefit and will not conduct test and other medical examinations for this insurance. Even if there are a lot of no exam life insurance available on the market and in the internet, I got this insurance for free and with no hussle.

My grandpa is not just asking for any other laptops that you will find in the market for some cheap prices but he want it to be the top of the line. We just really don’t know what he would do to a laptop, maybe he will use it for social networking like Twitter or Facebook. (hehe) But when we ask him, he said that he will use it for his business that is inline with construction and mechanical stuffs.

I then realized that he might use it for an Auto CAD software for 3D rendering and designs. I got a call from my aunt and she said that she already bought a laptop with 4GB memory. Hope this will suffice my Ankong.

A week after I bought the tickets, I immediately let my son experience what they could offer. All in all my son enjoyed and especially the kids games for up to 12 years old.

It is Powerful in the sense that my Honda BeAt 110cc can carry the load of almost 3 people same thing with my SYM Jet 100 before. Carrying a load of 3 people is not a problem with this motorcycle scooter. It can carry almost half ton of weight considering that my brother who is 6 foot 3 inches in height and weighed around 200 pounds is my back ride. Add up my weight which is around 180 pounds and my son or my wife’s weight. It can easily go from 0 to 60 km/h without exhausting the throttle. Acceleration is not a problem; it accelerates well based on my preferences in an 110cc scooter.

It is so Economical in the sense that it drinks up around 30 kilometers per liter. I base that on my daily ride going home-work-home routine with estimated 28 kilometers back and fort from Caloocan to Makati. Add up those times that we needed to go to supermarket and groceries nearby around 3 kilometers away from our home.

What I noticed about this Honda Beat Scooter is that it is so light. A strong wind can definitely pushes you sideways whenever you’re in a highway. I’ve experienced this one time and from that day forward I never tried speeding up to 90 kilometers per hour with this scooter.

I am done for its first check up when it reached 1000 kilometers last February and now this coming week the 2nd check up. All those check up and maintenance are free except for the Honda Motor Oil which cost around 200php that I needed to buy in order for the technician to change it. Now I checked up the engine oil and it really needs replacement because the oil was already black. I also noticed but correct me if I’m wrong, that it needs tune up. The sound of the engine was changed but the performance is still the same. No, it is not clanking sound but it sounds like an old engine. Well, for this I have to consult it with the technician at the Honda Motortrade.

Steering fork, front and rear shock absorbers are ok. It can go through any road smooth or rough. Also, the sound of the muffler is kind of odd because it sounds like thin can. It sounds like a Honda Wave but I have no choice since changing of mufflers in Makati is strictly prohibited. I don’t want to be fined by just upgrading my muffler into those racing sound pipes and besides I am not into racing. I just want a ride for work and for my son’s school since it is so economical rather than riding a jeep.

I chose pearl white metalloid color which is one of the new variant of the Honda Beat 2010. It is released late 2010 and so far it is not yet changed by Honda Motors Corporation. I am expecting of new arrivals and new models of scooters like Yamaha have. So far this is just the scooter available in the market by Honda.

Key features that I really agreed on this Honda BeAt is the side stand switch, wherein you could not start or run your motorcycle whenever your side stand is on. This is a safety feature that the others don’t have. AHO or Always Headlights On is a plus also, I don’t have to worry about the head light switch anymore but this might cost a lot of battery consumption right? Wider foot panel also it helps the back ride to rest their feet inside the motorcycle body.

What I don’t like about Honda BeAt scooter is its compartment. It is so small and flat that the only thing that can fit in it is the manual and some papers and small tools. Unlike other rides that has deeper compartment that some can even put in their small helmets. I hope the compartment of my bumbleBeAt is as big as the SYM Jet 100 wherein you can store a close face helmet inside.

All in all I am extremely satisfied on my Honda BeAt Scooter for its performance, speed, looks and durability.

The web sense also prohibits us from accessing the office printer directly so that we could not share some informations from the clients that we handle. This is a bit annoying because sometimes we really need the printer for printing documents and payslips. And of course direct mail printing is also not possible.

This system is the reason of me unable to print out such application forms that I badly needed to subscribe to some home utilities and necessities.

Our original plan was to go to Green Nature Waterpark Resort in San Mateo wherein we will stay for overnight and go home around noon the following day. But Marco and Mark objected and told us that we should try out of town since Tiyo Henio told us that his experience in Cavite was great, so we took his word. We left from our place at around 10.30am to fetch Rica from her work and to fetch Snap and his family in UP Village where they live.

We were headed to Tanza, Cavite. While waiting for Mae (my wife) and Jed (Marco’s wife) from Market for our foods and other stuff on that morning, I already searched on the internet what could be the best resorts in Cavite since Tiyo Henio just named few resorts like La Excellance Resort as well as Oasis Hotel and Resorts both in Tanza.

So from Diliman, I took the way of Quezon Ave. going to Araneta Ave, Sta Mesa, Pandacan, Quirino, Roxas Blvd then we stopped by at Blue Wave Macapagal to fill up some fuel. Then we go and took coastal road with toll fee amounting to 22php and then CAVITEX with 58php for Class 1 vehicles.

We first took a peak at Villa Excellance Resort in Tanza but sadly, it was fully booked. All cottages and rooms are occupied until the next day so we have no choice but to search for a new one. La Excellance Resort is quite good but it is so crowded. We then look for other resorts until we reach Naic, Cavite but in the end we end up in Villa Buenaflor in Tanza, Cavite.

We arrived there at around 4pm. We took the first available room which is known as duplex but the lower part of the duplex is the only available. It is priced at 1500php for 12 hours stay.

What I can say about Villa Buenaflor Resort is that they don’t have a very nice place to stay. The water in their Big pool has a lot of chlorine content that if you open your eyes in the water it will get red afterward. The kiddie pool is also not that impressive since it is a bit small and not safe for kids because the slide inside is made of concrete. The kiddie pool doesn’t even have stairs. We checked out the beach and Snap’s mom was right. The beach is a bit dirty and it looks like they are not maintaining it. We took pictures and walked but didn’t took a deep.
This is not what I expected. We could have enjoyed in Green Nature Waterpark Resort in San Mateo!But if you are lack in budget, this is the place to stay in Tanza. Same thing with the La Excellance. I am just not that satisfied but I enjoyed a lot because of my family and friends together.

I am just so satisfied with the foods and drinks that we had during our stay. We brought in Electric Stove and Electric Grill to cook our foods. We also had flame grilled Fish and Pork Belly. So our dinner was great and then goes the drinking session wherein we stayed up until 3am! I haven’t even sleep for almost 40 hours! We drunk 1 bottle of The Bar Vodka and 1 case of Red Horse beer to satisfy our urge. The kick of the alcohol drinks was just fine and it helps us to sleep way better.

We then checked out around 8am then go hit the road and stopped by in Tambo, Paranaque to visit our former team mate Jason Malcontento of NU Bulldogs (2002-2006).

We really had fun specially the kids, even if the place is not that satisfying and our stay was quite short! Next time we will fix all our work schedules to have better time off and vacation.

We would do that more often and our target is on October or December. This time our plan is to go to Puerto Galera wherein we will enjoy both on foods and accommodation for sure. Although this time it will cost us a little bit higher than before. The get together with my family and best friends is just so amazing and wonderful.

So I volunteered to use our family car as our getaway vehicle for this summer vacation. We are four families with one of each have a child not older than 6 years old. So all in all we are 12 people and I think that is a bit overloaded for a Toyota Revo.

We were planning to go to the beach and had some drinks at night so Snap suggested that we could go to Iba, Zambales. Since he and his family have been there before. We are thinking twice and hesitating because it’s far from Metro Manila. We think again for another option and then Laguna came up. But Laguna doesn’t have the beach that we all wanted and some objected the plan especially the Guys that were planning to have some drinks at night. Also, we all know that private pools are in demand right now and expensive.

Next that was raised up is Batangas that is well known for their beaches and scuba diving spot. But we don’t have time for scuba and its also expensive for our tight budget plus that we have kids around so that won’t work out. Nasugbu, Batangas is our main focus and we are looking for Cheap Batangas Resorts that has good accommodation in terms of place, safety and rules because we are planning to bring our own foods and drinks. Again, Batangas is quite far from the Metro and the fuel alone will cost us a lot.

Our main and hopefully the final choice is Bulacan. Just a few kilometers away from the Metro, Bulacan has been one of the tourist destinations of people in the Metro. Not just that it is nearer but also a lot of Cheap Bulacan Resorts are everywhere in this province. There are different Municipalities in Bulacan were in they offer different attractions for people who are hungry for vacation.

Main attractions for the Bulacan Resorts are those artificial waves and those attractions that the kids will surely love. This is one of the factors that contribute to our choice since we have kids with us. I know few Bulacan Resorts that offers superb amenities like Amana Water Park, 8 Waves Resort, Jed’s Island Resort and more.

We will finalize the said summer getaway this week so that we can go ahead by next week. Dreamwave Resort is our focus since it is cheaper and the best part is that you can bring foods inside. But sadly you can’t bring in drinks. So I guess we could just buy the alcoholic drinks there.

I’m sure all the kids will enjoy this summer getaway that will finally push through after 2 years!

I was receiving birthday party invitations this past few days and I don’t have time to look each one of those until now. I remember that it will also be the Christening of my friend’s son Ehly.

I hope I could attend each one of the events since my schedule was moved at night.

We attended his graduation rights last Friday and it’s so wonderful seeing my child step up to higher level and enjoy the whole program. We didn’t miss the opportunity to take pictures as well as other parents who uses olympus cameras same model that we have.

We didn’t avail of the pictures and videos that the school’s official photographer did. But instead we brought our own digital camera and took the pictures on our own.

Lastly, after the graduation of course we have to celebrate and treat our one and only on his favorite restaurant. mmm!
