Although we know that Samsung Galaxy Young S5360 is one of the cheapest yet reliable Smartphone as of this time, I am still so excited to explore my new gadget. My son Miguel already did his part and didn’t waste time and grabbed the gadget right away when my wife arrived at home.

He explored it but a bit disappointed because there is still no games installed in it. I am not a Smart subscriber and haven’t had a Smart SIM card for regular use since my college years. Also, my friends weren’t Smart prepaid or postpaid subscribers as well.

But the opportunity to use the service of the largest mobile network in the country makes me excited since it includes UnliTxt Smart to Smart, Smart to Talk N’ Text and Smart to Red Mobile. Using Smart network is the least that I imagined using because the only Smart subscriber at home is my mom. She prefers Smart because of the unlimited features that it has and for me personally they have the most affordable and most reliable unlimited texting service other than SUN cellular network which the Smart already owned.

Exploring the Smart Netphone, I can see a lot of features and capacity of this mobile phone. I am familiar on how an android device works so I know the ups and downs on an android device. Although I had a Samsung Galaxy Tab P1010 before which runs on Android 2.2 Froyo, I see a lot of difference between the tablet and this phone. You can actually determine it by just looking at the specifications of the gadgets and you can actually compare it in the internet.

Samsung Galaxy Y is currently running Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS and I still don’t have an idea if it has already an update. Screen resolution is too low which is not compatible on many applications including HD games. What I am satisfied about is on its touch screen function, it doesn’t have a delay like Samsung Corby 2 that I also have. Even if there are a lot lacking in this unit compared to other Android devices, I can say that it can keep up with the middle class Android device as well as Samsung Smartphone like Samsung Galaxy Ace.

This device has 830 MHz ARMv6 CPU that is close to the one that Galaxy Ace and Galaxy Mini have. Actually, some Android device has lower CPU installed than this one. Now that I have this Smart Netphone Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 on hand and with Smart’s Unli Txt and Unli Social service that I have, I will just tweak some settings, install some applications and I think it’s good to go.

I love to compare products online even if its already out in the market and in the mall. I am a gadget lover so it is a must for me to do this before buying anything. I love to surf those websites that has compare tray such as several gadgets and appliances websites wherein you will also finds perfect places to buy the product that you are comparing to.

What good about comparing products online is that you will see information such as features, specifications and even the down side of a product. Knowing first the product especially gadgets will save you a lot of money.

Alright now, since the day my aunt and cousins arrived from overseas, MJ has been playing my cousins Nintendo Wii and is totally addicted to it. It is his first time to experience playing the remote of Wii wherein you visualize that you are the one inside the video game using the controller and your own body move.

How do you adjust Network settings?
Once the GUI is installed in your computer and launched, go to
TOOLS> OPTIONS> NETWORK> NETWORK TYPE
choose WCDMA Only or 3G Only.

After I applied the settings I immediately connected to the net and noticed that I now only receiving 3G and HSDPA signals. I felt the burst of speed in my connection. Before I boost my Globe Tattoo Broadband Signal I am used on receiving either 3G or EDGE which is kind of awful because of inconsistent speed but now I am receiving around 500kbps up to 1.6Mbps download which just suffice me.

Would it be nice if I am going to shoot it with my new Nokia C7 next year when their class resume? How awesome it would be if I shoot images and videos with Nokia C7′s high-quality photos and HD video using the 8 megapixel camera.

I’ll be bringing my son to school on time using the Maps with FREE GPS navigation. With this feature I would not even attempt to buy a separate GPS gadget. Alternate routes would be great on this feature.

I am waiting for my son’s dismissal everyday from 8am-11am this is the time wherein I am thinking of what to do and not to be bored. Then I explore her iPhone and stumble on a movie that is truly awesome. I asked her on where did she get the movie because the quality is so good and she said that she got it from a DVD. She used a DVD Ripper to got the file converted into a compatible filename for her iPhone.

When I asked about on what device that she is using when transferring file, she said a mac book. I was shocked and didn’t know that they now have a mac and used it instead of her laptop. Obviously the function of Mac and PC is different from one another.

She then said that she used iTunes that is fully available for download on the net and then DVD Ripper Mac. This will enable the users of Mac to transfer files from their notebook into an iPhone at ease.

We met again today and explored again her Apple iPhone 4 and when I looked at the files, it was full of converted movies that came from her collections of DVD. She asked me again on what movies to watch so she could rip dvd again and again then watch on her high definition phone.
