NU Bulldogs fell short and loss to UST Growling Tigers with the scores of 73-72 in Overtime.

In that game, we saw Ray-Ray Parks missed the game winning basket in the end of overtime to break the hearts of NU fans who anticipated a much better and monstrous performance from the young Fl-American rookie.

Bobby Ray could have won that game but he missed. Moment like that had happened to a lot of basketball greats but a lot of criticism from people from media and different people from different schools and even some from his own school have questioned the ability as
a player of Parks.

We all know that he was offered to play for Georgia Tech in US-NCAA division 1. And then he chose to gave up that once in a lifetime chance and instead played for the NU Bulldogs in the UAAP.

Do you have any idea why did he let the opportunity to slipped away?

Some humor around the league said that Bobby Ray Parks was offered by National University which is owned and bankrolled by SM with a 250k PHP allowance per month. I really don’t know if its true even if I am an alumnus of NU high school. But in my opinion, this is so possible because of the money that SM has.

Whatever the reason that made Parks a legitimate NU Bulldogs player, I still believe that he still playing ball for his team “for the love of the game” and not just because of huge amount of money. Same thing goes for the rest of the NU roster whose players came from different schools and was recruited by the Bulldogs.

Now going back to Ray-Ray’s debut game. He collected pretty much good numbers for a rookie player with 16 points, 9 Rebounds, 3 blocks and 3 Assist. A complete all-around game right? But then he shot poorly for 5 out of 20 field goals. Is it just rookie jitters? I guess not.

I have talked to a lot of people inside my Alma Mater and they kept on saying that the Bulldogs is a very strong team this season and have a good chance of winning a championship. They even boasted that the Bulldogs have beaten the Ateneo Blue Eagles in the Fr. Martin’s Cup 2011 with the Eagles complete line-up including Greg Slaughter.

But then haven’t they realize that Ateneo is the defending Champs of the UAAP? It is not yet the time to boast something that doesn’t really matter. What matter is that they should play well against the Ateneo Blue Eagles and beat them in the UAAP itself to prove something. I am not bias and I am not just cheering for my former school. I love to watch Ateneo Blue Eagles games as well as the FEU Tamaraws games. But in the end I am a proud Nationalian that will cheer for them no matter what.

What I just don’t like with these NU fans is that they kept on boasting and saying that NU is a contender because of Bobby Ray Parks. Hey! Let me just remind you guys that basketball is played by team and not individually. I know all of you will agree that Bobby Ray Parks is a very good basketball player. But giving him the responsibility to carry the full load of the team is just a no-no for a rookie and young player like him. Even if he is the son of the greatest basketball player ever or whatsoever, I don’t think that he would take the responsibility and popularity that NU is enjoying right now. Give credits to his teammates like season 73 MVP race 1st runner up Emmanuel Mbe and others, like Javillonar and Khobuntin.

In my own opinion, Bobby Ray Parks Jr. is just starting and will definitely be much tougher in their coming games. NU just have to play well and much tougher if they want to enter the final four.

And for those people whose boasting for NU, just shut up and just let the Bulldogs play in the UAAP Season 74. Don’t be a fool because we are not yet champions. We haven’t done and achieved anything yet. To those critics, just keep it coming. I know Parks will be motivated by these and the whole NU Bulldogs Team.

This Monday I am going to wake up early, simply because I would Watch 2010 Oscar Awards Live Stream Online Free. I know its just a few days before the coming event but I am really excited to know who’s going to win from those 2010 Oscar Awards List of Nominees.

What excites me the most aside for me to Watch 2010 Oscar Awards Live Stream Online Free is to see the biggest stars in the Hollywood. Also in this event are my fellow countrymen that will participate in the 82nd Academy Awards night although I don’t have an idea on what is their participation in the said event as I just heard it from the news. yay!

At first I wanted to Watch 82nd Academy Awards Live on ABS-CBN channel 2 here in our local channel, but what made me change my mind was the thought that I don’t want to miss the red carpet entry of those big stars including my showbiz crushes so I settled to Watch 2010 Oscar Awards Live Stream Online Free.

I also have the option to Watch 82nd Academy Awards Live via Velvet on cable TV but the thing is that we don’t have cable subscription. One thing is for sure is that I will post the 2010 Oscar Awards List of Winners right after the show.

You could also Watch 2010 Oscar Awards Live Stream Online Free via streaming sites like ustream, justin Tv, freedocast. I just can’t wait to know the list of winners of Oscars 2010 as my personal bet for the best picture category is Avatar that’s why I won’t forget to Watch 2010 Oscar Awards Live Stream Online Free this Monday.

Kobe Bryant reached 25,000 career points at 31 years 151 days of his age, a little earlier than Wilt Chamberlain.

before Kobe reached 25,000 career points, earlier today he was voted in the 2010 West All Star Starters.

Bryant’s next target to surpass are Jerry West with 25,192 points and Reggie Miller with 25,279 points before dreaming to catch up with the all-time leader Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with 38,387 points.

I wonder if LeBron James can reach 25k points sooner than Kobe does.
