American Home Dumps Me a Ton of Dirty Clothes!
Few months ago, my sister bought an American Home Washing Machine from one of the well known appliances store here in Metro. On the first time that I saw it, I was shocked because we never had any American Home Appliance on our house before this. I asked her why she bought an American Home Brand and she just replied “mas mura eh”. She had a point it’s a bit cheaper but unfortunately, the quality of this product is way off lower than the quality of other leading brands.
Well, I’m saying this because the first thing that comes to my mind is the quality of the product, and I was right, 3 weeks ago our washing machine’s timer knob started to malfunction, the timer knob can’t be twist at all on my desired time, and the spin of the washer just turns clockwise rather than both spin that it should be. So after that, I called the American Home service center because it’s still covered by the warranty period of one year. The American Home service center quickly responds to my query and sent a technician the following day to check the unit. But then the technician just removed the broken timer and told us that it will be replaced, the technician told us that he will be back on Tuesday September 1st to replace the part because that Monday is a holiday (National Heroes Day). Unfortunately, up to now there is no one coming here to replace the broken part despite my few calls to follow up the said query.
This problem caused us tons of unwashed clothes and waits for a long the washer to be fixed. And now we’re just patiently hand washing our important clothes to wear and tough this problem occur the good thing was that the spin dry of the twin tub is still working. Hopefully tomorrow this d*** washing machine will be fixed, so that the mountain of unwashed clothes in our house will be vanished. haha!
Lesson: Don’t buy a brand that is a little cheaper but has a lower quality.
