Maos Pad dot Com is a blog that covers everything under the sun like a Sunday newspaper from front to back. Obviously Mao’s is named after the blogger and Pad stands for his place or ownership.

This is the first ever blog of Mao Baytan. He is an athlete, a sports lover, a Kobe Bryant fan, a frustrated basketball varsity, a certified caregiver, a certified AutoCAD operator. He is a day dreamer, slow learner, jobless, lazy, noob search engine optimist, below average grammarian and a novice writer. He loves photography, camera, videos, gadgets, mobile phones, computers and cars but he can’t afford to buy any of these. He believes that comfort is much important than fashion. He is a proud father and a loving partner. He loves his family more than anything else.

Being an athlete and a father

From his grade school days in a Chinese school in Caloocan, he dreamed of playing basketball in different level. He is a former National University Bullpup in High School. He played basketball for Mapua Institute of Technology and Arellano University in College where he met his life partner and the mother of his child. Afterward he stopped playing ball and had a handsome child in 2006 and then was recalled to play ball by his long time friend and volleyball coach in Saint Jude College. Now he is passing his will of playing basketball to his brother who is now a member of Chiang Kai Shek College Blue Dragons high school basketball team.
