Washington Wizards selected a point guard in the 2010 NBA Draft Thursday Night. John Wall of Kentucky who have a tremendous career and who also The Adolph Rupp Trophy National Player of the Year while also earning player of the year honors from Yahoo! Sports and Rivals. A finalist for the Oscar Robertson Trophy, the Bob Cousy Award and John Wooden Award. A consensus First-Team All-American and National Freshman of the Year. Voted as the SEC Player of the Year and SEC Tournament MVP. The first player in Kentucky history to record double-doubles in both points and rebounds and points and assists. Set a Wildcat single-season assist record (241).
John Wall picked first overall in the 2010 NBA Draft who averaged 16.6 points, 6.5 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game during his stint at Kentucky in his College career.
