The 2010 NBA All Star Game is fast approaching and I just can’t wait to watch the 2010 NBA All Star Skills Challenge before watching the Dunk Contest and the 3 point Shootout. Derrick Rose will defend his title as last year’s Taco Bell Skills Challenge champion.  The 2010 NBA All Star Skills Challenge Participants were composed of 3 previous title holders that will take place at American Airlines Center in Dallas.

The Taco Bell Skills Challenge was introduced at NBA All-Star 2003 in Atlanta and features four players competing in a two-round timed “obstacle course” consisting of dribbling, passing and shooting stations. All players must observe basic NBA ball-handling rules while completing the course. The two players with the fastest times from the first round advance to the finals with the order of competition determined by inverse order of the first round times. At the discretion of the referee, television instant replay may be consulted for clarification of rules compliance.

Here are the List of Participants of 2010 Taco Bell Skills Challenge:

  1. Brandon Jennings – Milwaukee Bucks
  2. Steve Nash – Phoenix Suns
  3. Derrick Rose – Chicago Bulls
  4. Deron Williams – Utah Jazz

I am rooting for Brandon Jennings of Milwaukee Bucks to win the 2010 NBA All Star Skills Challenge. Jennings is a great shooter and I think that the 3point shot in the obstacle is the most important to pass through.
